TREE OF OPPORTUNITY
As part of Sense initiative on art / well being this project took root at Providence Court, home of Sense Intervenor Services. Deafblind people were supported to experience trees from different perspectives.
People brought ideas by taking walks, selecting colours, patterns and drawing about trees and leaves. photos and experiences of the countryside have been worked and expanded on to translate onto the trees and leaves, using different textures and materials. The tree is in a style of a jigsaw to be either admired or engaged in. The tree branched out into many areas, as in Chudleigh Knighton School ( Learning exchange ) and other Sense Services.
