The Camphill Devon Workshops provide meaningful day service activity’s which enable adults with learning disabilities to make art and craft, gaining skills and knowledge, supported by dedicated and skilled workshop leaders.
Our craft workshops consist of a textiles, metal, wood and pottery where individuals learn skills and create unique art and craft items, for sale, in a social environment.
To help support the environment and to reduce costs we use recycled materials where possible such as copper, tin, aluminium, rags, beads and broken unwanted wooden furniture, we even take wood from our own sustainable woodland to turn bowls, honey spoons and pens. As well as this we have a large bank of solar panels which provide electricity to our workshops, firing our kilns and powering our tools.
